During the 93 minutes we were taken to a place that is reputedly the most dangerous places in the world. During the 93 minutes we are also invited to experience what the soldiers felt that during the two years assigned to the outer frontiers of Afghanistan known as the Korangal Valley.
Over the past 15 months these soldiers have served in a border post which they now call this Restrepo. 15 months in exile like this alone is not something easy living, coupled with the mental burden that must be their responsibility during their stay in this foreign land.
Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger war are two journalist who had won several awards for their journalism work and Restrepo this is one of the work of two of them managed to enter Oscar nomination 2011. Hetherington and Junger deliberately did not involve an outside party as a commentator because the wish to maintain the authenticity of the story at this border.
